24th October International Linkin Park Day?

I recently saw that on 24th of October (in 2009) it was "International Linkin Park Day", what is this?
I also saw it was started by Music For Relief.
What do people do on this day?
Is it even real?
Is it still celebrated?
I'm actually really curious to know seeing as I didn't get much infomation from the internet...

I never heard of an International LP Day, none have I heard of anyone that they are celebrating it... I guess it is just some fake idea...
