After thinking about what I wrote on here last night and after reading what everyone has written the only thing I can add is that Linkin Park are officially dead. This is Linkin Park 2.0. Whether it’s your thing is another matter. For me it is and I like it.

LP doesn´t evolutioned they have involution to this... and this isn´t a mature LP, this is an LP that gives a fuck all their old fans and make the albums for kids of 15 years old to keep the sell up, but i can assure to all of you that any one of this albums is gonna achieve the record of HT, and please don´t tell me that the only one that think that...
And i want to mention another one that said, "some of the fans don´t even talk our language and don´t understand the lyrics that´s why they want the old LP", heloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i´m from Argentina and i understand them very well, but if i follow your point of view you can even hear hannah montana because have good lyrics... excuse me about what im gonna say but get the fuck out of here! that bullshit that this dude wrote really piss me off...

And with all this said i can say like many that we are here that i used to love LP. In this album i don´t know who they are anymore... And for the guys of LP and all of you that call yourselfs mature and all that crap, think about it: THE ONLY PERSON THAT WILL REALLY TELL YOU THE TRUTH, NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR IS THE ONE THAT LOVES YOU" that is a mature response, think about it...

i love the older songs from hybrid theory and meteora. that's what lp is... BUT the newer stuff is lp, too... just different!
lp has different influences... rock, rap and electro... combining some stuff IS their way to make music.
i listen to A THOUSAND SUNS gladly, because i like the concept, the play of beats, the voices and lyrics... the general view convinces! sometimes the album reminds me on depeche mode but then chester is screaming or mike's rapping and i had to grin... because it's LINKIN PARK and nobody else!
it will be very nice, if lp would make a new album with drums, guitars, screams and raps like in the past. not a remake of something, but a modern version of headbanging rock with influences of their roots! it seems that they don't want to... it's a pity but i open my mind for new ideas and other sites and then i decide the verdict for myself.

Maybe they will see the fan response and make their 5th album more like their original music. Who knows really... LP will always be my favorite band no matter what.

I`m just wipin` my ass with it! ATS definitely sucks and i`m not offensive so far! This is not the music! Linkin Park has dig its own grave and i gotta say its final resting place looks like a crap after this ‘masterpiece’. Great work guys, seriously! if ya don`t wanna make music like ya did before, please accept ur death! But before you begin trying to fight your way out of it, please answer me this little qustion: Why the fuck are ya tryin` to be TRENDY?! It`s just because of the money or the fact you are completely fucked up in your heads nowadays? There is no kickass rap, no awesome screaming on it. I`m completely dissapointed. Please jot down this to ur notes: ‘FANS MINUS ONE - ME’.

and here`s a little post scriptum for fucken` infants aggregated on this forum: if you haven`t got an ear for good music don`t waste ur shitty time replying to this - to my personal opinion! And in the end i wanna give a big shout out to those who are not deaf and have typed here that the brand-new Linkin Park album is a COCKY PIECE OF SHIT! Peace!

U know what? i totally agree with u. i loved HT and Meteora. Even when they changed their genre from nu-metal 2 alternative rock 3 yrs ago it was totally fine by me even if i didnt like it very much.I never expected a HT3. A M2M2 would really be OK. But now? What is that? Electro-techno s**t? where is brad and phoinix? even rob's drums sound like techno. LP STOP experimenting and make a fine fifth album. I'm glad i didnt preorder that one....

But, I will share my opinion on that we the 'complainers' have a point: the reason we liked linkin park was because of the way they were, its what got them here in the first place. However, now they've changed completely (not only is it out of nu-metal, its out of metal completely or anything of the like). I hope they've noticed the tension amongst their fans

After listening ATS again, I have to say that, IMHO, the real problem is not only the change of their style. The real problem is that there aren't really great songs on it. It is an album totally forgettable. I think LP can change their style, but they have to make great songs too. That's why ATS is not good. I repeat: there aren't great songs in this new album, period. And please, do not tell me that Wrectches and kings is a great song. IMHO, it is not. It is not that great!. It is not like, for example, In The End or Numb.

I'm just a fan. I can't ask them to going back to their past. It is not my right to do so. They are grown ups and they know what to do. But I can ask them to make great songs next time.

And I have to say this: The real problem with many musicians that make big money like LP, it is that they forget what made them famous: HIS HUNGER for great music, for being somebody. Now they have comfortable lives, big bucks, and they forgot where they came from. That's all. The problem is in their heads. Less money, less comfort will make them to remember where they came from in first place. Too much money and comfort can corrupt someone.
