Does anyone happen to know what the camera policy is for the LPU Summit on Wednesday in Chicago?  And also if that policy will apply for the concert as well?

Under the 'What to Bring' portion of the LPU Summit details list, they list cameras.  But I'm sure it can't be just any type of camera (DSL-R's and whatknot).  I'm planning to purchase a brand new camera for this very special day and would love to use a Sony NEX3 at the show because it takes outstanding low-light photos (aka concert photos).  Does anyone know about the exact camera policy for both the Summit and the Show?

Not sure you can bring that to the show. The usual policy is digital cameras are okay, but anything with a detachable lens in prohibited. Maybe if you have the smallest lens for that it won't look so bad. But it could also be taken from you. I always bring just a regular digital camera. No DSLR's or anything big/fancy.
