Copyright permission

I'm a Brazilian writer and a huge fan of yours.

I'm writing a trilogy about a love story between people who have difficulty loving and trusting one another due to painful events that happened in their past. While I was writing the first book, I listened to your songs, drew inspiration from them and began to imagine them of a sort of soundtrack to the story I was telling.

I would love to include short extracts of some of the lyrics, at the beginning of the chapters. So I’m writing you to obtain copyright permission to use the extracts of the songs: In the end; Waiting for the end; Points of Authority; From the inside; Numb; Faint; Breaking the habit; Robot Boy; Lost in the echo; Burn it down; Castle of Glass.

The first book will be published by November 12th, 2012, in digital and physical forms by Amazon, under the tittle of TRUST, A New Beginning.

I believe - and hope - that would you be so kind to forwarding me, by email, and if needed by the post, the standard permission form(s) or a statement indicating your agreement to my request.

Your songs will be divulged to a greater audience by being included in my book. Also, I will divulge them in my soon to be launched twitter and facebook account.

I am available to provide any further information about the book or myself.
