I can't tell you everything for sure, but it is something like a "club" or as it says - team, which is helping LP to get more fans, to spread the music, etc. The members would post links on different websites, etc. I think earlier, years ago it was way different, but someone else should tell you :D sorry, I tried. DerekLP should know :D

It's more of a team than a club. It's for people wanting to volunteer (eg, do work) for Linkin Park.

A Street Team is a community composed by fans of a group, in this case, a band. This community comes together to sponsor and spread the word of the band everywhere.

 

A Street Soldier is a member of the Linkin Park's Street Team.  It is called "Soldier" because in the CD of Hybrid Theory you can see a Soldier with a fllag.
