I used to be someone wrapped up in their own popularity, then I became someone who got singled out. So I kind of got a taste of both sides, and i can tell you it doesn't feel good on either side. On the popularity side you have a hollow feeling inside and you are never satisfied. But on the singled out side life is just miserable. So I think that people should just "remember all the sadness and fustration [in life], and let it go." Maybe that is what numb is about, where the connections between people have all "become so numb" because of that reason. So instead of following tradition, we should "be more like me, and be less like you."

Numb is one of my life's songs and the video exactly saying the truth of some peoples, even sometimes me, in my opinion we are all in the way numb's video showed , we are all alone in different subjects of our life,
