How Linkin Park affects you... opinions/experiences needed

Hello. I'm writing a paper for a philosophy of art class in which I've decided to support Tolstoy's argument that art is the only way to truly express emotion with the example of Linkin Park and their fan base. I'm looking for people whom I can quote in support of music (especially the connection between the fans and the band in the live concert/meet & greet environment) as a form of personal expression but also a way to connect people with similar emotions/personal histories.

If any of you could just talk about how you found the band, what attracted you to their music, how they've inspired you, what your concert experiences were, etc. I know personally I've been to concerts where I've felt an almost spiritual connection to not only the band but the fans around me in which we all experienced something bigger than ourselves. I also think that Linkin Park creates a unique relationship with their fans through the means of the LPU and a tremendous effort on their behalf to include the fans into their world.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, guys! :)
