MikeShinoda.com has any information you need on how to use LPUX.

 

Technically you're logged into the LPU as soon as you sign into linkinpark.com.  It's no longer a fan club, as Mike says, rather we're members of LP's "inner circle".  It's all about the experience now

I signed up for LP.com before LPU though, for free. So there's no difference?

You paid the $60 for the LPU membership.  That allows you access to the chat, meet and greet chances and summits.  No member of this site can access that unless they pay for the LPU.  The boards and everything else are public for all.

Yeah I'm a bit lost myself. I basically paid 60 bucks, for a chance to get a meet and greet. I miss the days of the LPST where I always got a back stage pass. Blah. Shoot, and 25$ at least got you a T-shirt and a cd in LPU.

I was thinking about joining the LPST, I dunno much about it though. I'm not really tech-savvy either so I probably wont know how to promote LP online....but yeh, I paid 50$ for one of those LPU packages that I remember being included in the annual membership fee. It's BS now. /sigh

Wait so how come I bought the 60 dollar membership and yet I can't download anything on the LPU site? is there a sign in place or info on that?

Yes, you have to click on sign in link halfway down page after you click on downloads section, and sign into Yahoo or whichever provider you used when you bought your membership. Then you can download :) Unless technical glitch occurs. ;)

so if you bought a LPU pack, the card is worthless??

im confused..

cause i have 2. one for 6 and one for 8 and i dont know how to activate them, or even where/how to use them
