Plagiarism?

Today as I listened to the album "Minutes to Midnight" on track 5 Shadow of the Day, my friend told me that the office had heard a song "Sertaneja" (a Brazilian style like country) much like when I heard that I realized it is very similar, there is my question: Is this plagiarism?

Your English was good and yes the tune is very similar to Shadow of the Day so it should be considered as plagiarism only if the Brazilian band did not have permission from Linkin Park.
