Camera depends on the venue, and I think ACC is pretty okay with any camera given it's not one of those with an extremely large lens.

Thanks for the friend request acceptance.

Would like to thank you for the answer below.  I have a pretty good camera and the section that I have for reserved seating should be pretty good to get some nice pictures.  I got tickets during the pre-sale - I finally have them as the reciept said that they shipped Dec.16.2010.  I have section 108, row 16.  So not too bad.  I didn't want to get GA tickets as I work full time and I am not 100% I would be able to get out to Toronto early enough to get a good spot.

How are things with you?  Did you get good seats or GA?

Anyways, just wanted to thank you for taking the time to answer the question.  I will figure out what's best for a lens choice....I heard that there is a phone line you can call about specific events and what the limits are.

Wishing us both the best of luck for the M & G event in Toronto.  I believe you RSVP'd?

I am also totally wanting to know anything on M & G as we are traveling from Edmonton AB to see them!! Seeing as you are from Toronto what would you say are must see and do while there???

I lived in London which is near Toronto. I'd say do the CN tower but I'm not familiar with too many other site seeing things in Tdot. Depends on what you're interested in. The Hockey Hall of Fame is pretty sweet or the many plays and musicals. It all depends on what you like :)

 

I signed up for the M&G already for toronto. I think I got an email about it from linkinpark.com saying I could sign up for the M&G. It was just like when you buy a ticket except you're "buying" a meet and greet, although its free. A really weird way of setting it up if you ask me.

Hello Stacia,

Sorry for the delayed reply - been a bit busy of late.

So you are coming from Edmonton to see LP!  Wow that's dedication!  Did you get good tickets for the show?

 

I haven't heard back from either LP Underground or from Top Spin Media yet with regards to the M & G in Toronto.

From what I can gather is that people who have been lucky enough to have been chosen for the M & G will be given maybe a days notice via email.  I know that it's happening on the same date as the concert - I believe at noon in Toronto.

The "Reciept / Ticket" tells you that it's for noon.  Other than that there is to be an email with more information for those who are going.

I believe that you have also asked people what's there to do in Toronto?  Well I guess you could tell me how much time you have to look around?  Are you flying in from Edmonton?  I should think so...are you here before the show a few days or a few hours? 

 

Once you get back to me on that I might be able to suggest what you might want to hit before or after the show!

Ok.  So it's getting pretty close to the show.  The fact that LP are going to be on SNL tommorow has got me even more pumped about the show and the reality is that it isn't that far away anymore.  I am totally getting excited and I can not hardly wait...anybody else feel this way?  The show at the ACC is going to be an experience to remember. 

 

With that being said the M & G notifications should be just around the corner now...I hope that everybody who wants to go will be able to get a chance.  Been watching for a while now on the board - not too many people have been actively posting if they have RSVP'd or not....oh well we will see what comes of the M&G in Toronto.

hey all

 

my wife got the email today for the meet and greet, I did not :-(. . . I am super happy for her tho as i bought her the tix for her birthday which in a week after the show, I am super stoked that she gets to meet LP but kinda bummed I cant be there to see the look on her face. . . Its gonna be tough to link up with her afterwards although it is a must, anyone have any idea what time the meet n greets usually start? dont wanna be late thats for sure!

I am so bummed out that I don't get to go to a M&G what with coming all this way but the tickets were bought by my friend who knew nothing about signing up for a M&G. Boo. I am now in Toronto looking around meeting some people and so wishing I could meet the band. At least let the know how far I traveled to see them!!!! Enjoy the show everyone!!!! And if you happen to go to a M & G please tell them a girl named Stacia Gear traveled acctost the country to see them. :-)

just wondering what time you guys with meet n greet passes are going to get to the venue? any idea what time the m&g starts? when does it end? my wife is in but i am not so gotta drop her off and try to link up after the m&g any help is much appreciated

Hey @ Jeremy,

We don't have an idea as of yet...I have a friend going to the M & G in Montreal and the show is today.  She's not heard a thing yet.

I am not 100% but I believe that other than the fact that the notification will come via email or something - I will be in a holding pattern for most of the afternoon while at work.  Once I have any information I am gone for the day as of that moment.  My boss knows that I am going and he's cool with it.

Hope that you aren't late - and it's not a big issue to get to the M & G for your Wife.
