I totally understand what you mean. And I totally agree too. A simple example is that you can find in the top 40 at least one single with "David Guetta feat. %Insert Artist Of The Moment Here%". It tends to limit the creativity of the artists, as every songs on the radio has the same structure, almost the same beat, almost the same "instruments" and, for sure, the "auto-tuned voice" somewhere... And I was disappointed to listen to ATS and discover that LP too was using too much electro-beats (it misses true drums in many songs), auto-tune horror and almost no guitar... But after about 20 listening, I'm starting to like some songs, but "The Catalyst" is just too hard to listen to for me. In fact the electronic music in it sounds just like the techno music we had in Europe when I was in high school... in 1999 (makina and things like that). So, in my ears, it sounds really old, and bad now. To return to the subject, unfortunatelly, I think we're in the bottom of a wave, and we'll have to wait until the "electro-dance" fashion is gone.

It's called Selling out lol. I don't get why Linkin Park went through such a big effort of making such a large fan base claiming they were legit and not fake, just to change their sound when nu metal wasn't cool anymore lmao.

I'm a LP fan, but mostly cause i thought they seriously stood out during the nu metal era, i mean korn hasnt sold out, or slipknot, can't say the same for LP

lpaso I;m glad that u've understood me. But I can't understand why diff bands follow this trand? Yeah, at 1st twas great and smyh new. But then it began to be a little bit annoying. Every band had followed such trand. So, as I yold, LP had. I can't say that I did not like ATS. Twas smth new 4me from LP. AAnd smth new is always smth interesting. (For me, mb for u not). But if the following album would be at the same style it would not bу interesting. MB LP wanted us to see / listen smt new. They suceeded. They suceeded in creating their new style, this style.
Yeah beforhand they told that their album would be about the policy, 'bout the end of the world. oh, crash, I've lost all my thoughts =_=. Den.. they created, but this style does not sui them. They tried smth new, that's great.They tried to improve their creativity. They improved.
Many fans dissapointed in them while listened through the album, but I'm not. MB cuz I'm a person who likes to do, to create smth new, to look at smth new, not-ordinar....
Oooh.. I went far away from my theme. Sorry 4 it.
So 'bout changing. Very soon the whole world will listen just dance music and electro. That's crusial, as I think.
And I hope that the next LP album will be best of the best)

Well LP or their label got pressured to make stupid music, since they think that that's the only way they'll financially survive, hate to say it but even Nickelback is more legit, they've actually stuck to their roots of Grunge/Heavy metal through out all their albums, Nickelback never sold out, funnily enough.

You are ignorant. The label wanted another 'Hybrid Theory'. As was the case with Meteora. A label-forced attempt to take advantage of earlier work. Just stop trolling and get your facts straight.
