Hello Adam ..... I think frndship wants only , matter or not we r distant apart , we shoul be trustful 'n truthful at our mind 'n heart.... in addition I'm thankful to dis digitel world that it is taking me to every corner of the world for finding the best esence for my life 'n that is FRIENDS...... I think u've got ur answers.

Acutally i don't really agree. How could you compare a friend you've met IRL and been with since your childhood and is still friends with today to someone you've met on the internet?

yeah you r right...... and i m also agree with u that we should not compare online friends and personals..... but there is no rank in friendship dude...and about being good friends online, i would like to tale you that i hv found my best friend , named pravesh, online and we r in personal now.....and as i hv already said friendship is a synonym for trust.....anyway give your view now.....

Okay you've got a point. But how often do you think that happens?. How big is the chance for me to meet somone that live's sevral of thousands of miles away?. Sure you can discuss and laugh on the net for years but what does it matter if you never meet?

ammm... I think that depends only on you that you wanna meet or not and let me tell that I've meet Qamar Masood from bikaner, one of my LP friends,yeah he is an indian but that doesn't matter and truly say if I get any chance I'll be beside you in Sweden too.........

Im not saying that you can't meet each other but what im saying is that: The chances aren't so big.

yeah, you are right that we cant determine a friend in on-line. to know well a person we have to meet him/her in reality. just by chattin' in net we cant know what we will know that will be just the outside. well, still we should treat them friendly. in this net world, we can go anywhere of the world, meet many persons from any corner of it, some of them are seemed good, better and best but it's really harder to find them even the best one in our common view the real feature. but our childhood friends like our school friends with whom we played from when we were too younger, know better than a net friend. BTW till now some friends i have met in net are good i guess and you are one of them.

Adam u said that chances aren't so big , I agree, but a little possibility can establish a strong relation......
and i also agree with Himashri that our childhood friends like our school friends with whom we played from when we were too younger, know us better than anyone but for your que. , "do you think, could we really be good friends online? Is it better then meeting in person? Or is it wrong to compare reallity and the digital world? " my ans is...
Yes we could be good friends , even best as my incident i told in earlier post, on line............
and comparing digital and real world have no meaning i think.....
and yes meeting in person is better than chatting online....

yes Ravi u r too ryt..........i agree bt dis proces dsnt aplicabl 4 evry1.....we cnt undrstand our al frndz in d same rate.....sm cms to prtnd us whch we cnt knw so easily n wn we get to knw it we get pained.......

Exaxtly you have to know of the horrors as well, i mean how do we now, that the person we are talking to is really the one he or she says they are?

exactly that point i want to say Adam. yes we cant know the person we are talking is really that person we see in photo or not. he may be the another person. n also if it is, we still cant know.
