Living Things Australia and New Zealand Tour

Linkin Park are coming back to Australia!!

Linkin Park will be heading to New Zealand and Australia in February and March. On February 21, they'll be playing at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. They'll then head to Australia for Soundwave Festival. Tickets for Soundwave are on sale now HERE. Tickets for the Auckland show go on sale September 7, with LPU members getting access to pre-sale tickets before that. More information coming soon. Join the LP Underground at LPUnderground.com.

Soundwave has already SOLD OUT in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and will sell out very shortly in Adelaide and Perth! Make sure you get your tickets ASAP or you will miss out.

Also keep an eye out for possible side shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Also follow Soundwave on Facebook and Twitter for any more information about side shows and Music Feeds on either Facebook or Twitter for all general music news.

Also don't forget about the Linkin Park Australia Facebook page run by Warner Bros. Music. They often run comps and giveaways around album releases and tours.

How much have you written & what are you writing at the moment? I'm writing the 2nd in an urban fantasy trilogy for YAs. Over the long weekend I'm working on a couple of scene with the antagonist.

I'm new to loving LP, so missed their concert last Dec, which was really disappointing. Are you also a member of the Underground? I was thinking of joining.

Comment by Winter on June 10, 2011 at 10:55pm: Hello Sandy thank you for the warm welcome! :) I am lucky enough to have all their albums - up until A Thousand Suns I'd say that my favourite was / is Hands Held High and favourite album Minutes to Midnight, I also really like Collision Course and Fort Minor. But Catalyst and A Thousand Suns are just so addictive I think they're going to end up being my favourite, but I'm trying to let some time lapse so I can re-evaluate after more hours of listening.

To be honest though - all their albums are my favourite, I'm really not that picky, if they're playing I'm happy - and my favourite form of them is listening to their live songs I don't know why but to me they sound even better live, like all the energy and intensity of it enhances the music.

Did you use a particular album as your soundtrack for your novel? I also write (science fiction / fantasy) and my favourite of my novels, each different section I had playing different albums so now whenever I hear Minutes to Midnight I picture this terrible section where all the 'good' characters got betrayed.

These tunes definately helped me finish my 1st urban fantasy novel. Do you have a favourite album? I love Meteora, but also have Thousand Suns, Minutes to Midnight & the live Road to Revolution CD/DVD.
