i was there :) joe was great! he tried to answer ALL the questions asked by fans.. apparently he likes kesha and usher(dunno if thats a joke). and he also said he has a gundam collection and he likes velvet cupcakes. he also shared that they will be doing transformers 3 soundtrack. and he said he doesn't like to play a place for my head live..there were a lot more to the chat.

it went really well until some rude fans chatted tactlessly. one person told joe he was so fat and one person told joe she was disgusted with him and lp. the bitch.

From where do you all know when these chats are? I was only online at the first one but I didn't realize the other chats.

Wow! It really is pretty cool my friend! But as I'm new here I'm still a little lost! Can you help me?! This chat in which the guys of the LP is talking with fans is it in the common chat box (in which we talk with friends) or they talk elsewhere?! Well I was thinking ... How they respond if there are thousands of fans wanting to talk to them?!

 I'm lost also, but the people said that Joe really came to talk with the fans in the chat. Unfortunately I missed this! :(

LPU members can catch one of their chats. linkin park announces whenever a band member will come to chat through twitter, their facebook page and my space(?..not sure) and also on mike's blog i think. I have managed to catch Mike's and Joe's chats so far since I entered LPU.

 

@Flavia: There is a special chat room for LPU members where the chat takes place. It's a video chat, so they respond to questions by reading through the chat and then answering on the camera. There's also a moderator who freezes the chat from time to time so the band member can read through the questions.

And there I have to wait that maybe a member of Linkin Park will join the chat?? So it's something like matter of luck??

And IF a member of Linkin Park joins... Then it becomes a video chat??

Linkin park will announce in advance whenever a band member will do a chat.Just watch out for news from their twitter account, their facebook page or their my space page. And yes, it becomes a video chat when they join.

 

Although occasionally, Mike randomly goes into the chat room and  chats with LPU members without announcing. Now that requires luck lol. But usually they announce.
