Mark Wakefield is the person why Linkin Park is here Today. If he hadn't left the band then Chester would not be in the Band.

About Mark Wakefield
Mark Wakefield met Mike Shinoda in high school and joined the band, who were at that point called SuperXero. They revised the name to Xero and recorded the self-titled XERO sampler tape featuring the songs, "Fuse", "Reading My Eyes", "Stick N' Move" and "Rhinestone". The project floundered and Mark Wakefield decided to leave.
*Wakefield has since recorded a song named "Ground Xero".
Today we are hearing to Linkin Park only cause of Mark Wakefield and Jeff Blue. So We should thank them both.
It would be really great if Mark does a song with Linkin Park

In October 2008 Mike and Mark Wakefield recorded and released the song "Barack Your World", presumably as an endorsement of Barack Obama's presidential bid, under the name White Pegacorn
