LOL. I hear ya. I used to live in Santa Cruz! I hope your trees make it through that frost/snow! That would be a bummer to lose them...

Yup Gina, and that would be EXACTLY why I live in southern California lol.  The only thing that worried me about the little bit of snow we got is my citrus trees, we're entry level on our farm, and all of them were just budding and then this weekend happened when we'd only had about 10 days of plain frost all winter.  To lose the fruit from over 100 trees is a big loss for a little family farm!

Anya, don't worry, that's nothing. Very rare, I am sure. Looking at that picture, that just looks like frost. We are here in CO, so we get real snow! Like this picture from a snow storm we got this past Jan.Jan%2011%20storm.jpg

This is just outside of Temecula, in Riverside County... woke up yesterday and all I could think was "what is this white stuff doing in my yard?" (we're at a 2700ft elevation, shouldn't snow there in So Cal).  Then the mourning of this year's orange crop began lol... thank you global freakin warming, I'm unimpressed!
