Random, you've got a nice flow in your lyrics. I swear I could hear a voice reciting the words as my eyes wandered over them. Haha. And I love how "That's Life" isn't just a rant; it also offers a message of hope. Very cool. Kepp up the great work hun. =)

You tell someone one thing the next another, damn that’s life,
You go to one place leave another while your brother is lost you tell him to find his way
Home, your parents wonder where you are and if your there kid because your so different then what they expected, you lie to fit in damn that’s life, you don’t know what’s on the other side so live it to the fullest life’s a game so lets play, you may win or lose but that’s still life for you it’s got it’s ups and down hell yeah that’s life,


You think your losing when it’s not going your way but little do you know someone’s got it worse so don’t choke just make it better, there is more then one way to look at it,

You lose your job for overseas is where they went now you can’t pay the mortgage couldn’t pay the rent so it’s deeper in debt we all get. Is it fair? Corporations just don’t care. They get bail out money isn’t it funny they get to keep their mansions and their yachts and bonus pay. We get stepped on every way if its mortgage we can’t pay it’s the bank that takes our home. Wait a minute didn’t they start this mess with their greed? Why shouldn’t they be forced to repent their deed? Why not help out those you destroyed? Or aren’t you accountable to the human race? Why is it we can no longer talk to you face to face? Is it because you hide in boardrooms and make decisions you’re a disgrace?


Well that’s life it an’t fair don’t you dare fall apart, stick to those that are close to you heart they keep you sane wit ya brain. thats life

Put that knife DOWN!!! You don’t need that shit, it’s not going to make you better your friends make you better. Not that rope that you consider hope, just deal with it, with your friends and hope.

Thank you to you both I wrote that song mainly because of all the troops going to Iraq (which i didn't agree with) most of my lyrics are anti goverment but i do have one or two (no worries i'm working on more) that aren't about that, thanks for the great advice! XD

Random, it's always kind of tricky addressing certain topics (like politics or religion) without offending others. And the only reason I bring that up, is because sometimes anti-government lyrics can come off as anti-military if it's not carefully worded...

That aside, you definitely have a talent for writing. You've found something that you can write about, that others can relate to, and you communicated those feelings artfully. I'd love to read more of your work if you have anything else to share.
