Comment by Alexandra Nofi on February 1, 2010 at 6:04pm: If you post up a picture of Angel, I could probably tell you if she is an American short hair, or a Bombay. Bombay's have a certain shape to their heads and bodies that makes them distinctive. Yeah, I'm a cat lady without the crazy.

My mother's ex-boyfriend picked Spike's name. He just through it out in the open. I liked it because he has a spikey tuft of hair between his eyes. He's a little rat bastard, so, the name suits his personality. Dun worry, we love him, but when you live with a cat who pulls things off shelves, chews on your hands, and regularly tries to eat pins and earrings, you can't help but call him rat bastard.
