Comment by Michael Keil on June 16, 2011 at 12:56am Hi, i just received the LPU Summit in Hamburg: IMPORTANT INFORMATION E-Mail from the LPU HQ. Well i want to take pictures during the summit but after that email i am now REALLY confused. The first thing is about this SLR and no video camera thing. "Camera (no video cameras or SLR cameras)." ... Sorry, but our Canon EOS 400d is now some years old and i really guess some modern cell phones got a higher and better resolution than this camera. So i am not allowed to bring it with me just because it is SLR? ... And what about this "No Video Camera". Nearly EVERY camera is able to take pictures and to film.
But really crazy is this "LPU Summit Hamburg 2011 Freistellungserklärung.pdf". "FURTHER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU MAY NOT FILM, RECORD OR PHOTOGRAPH ANY MEMBER OF LINKIN PARK, WHETHER BY CAMERAS, CELL PHONE CAMERAS AND/OR HAND-HELD DEVICES OR OTHE RWI S E."
´
So we went to this event, and we are not allowed to take pictures from the band? WTF? So i guess all those videos here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=linkin+park+lpu+summit&... and all the pictures here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/LPU-Summit-11112010/165729553461015?s... are illegal?
Yes, i know that you have at the most events this "you are not allowed to bring anything" thing and the most times the security don't care about. But as this is a "familiar" event with LPU i hopped we don't have to sign shitty Papers with such stupid and complete confusing rules "Bring cameras, but don't film the band" ...???
I hope adam will response to this and clear things out. I do not want to get trouble during the event because some "do it or die" orga will piss me off because i bring a 5 years old camera with me and take a picture from Linkin Park. Thanks!

Comment by Renèe LPUX Member Iaccarino on June 14, 2011 at 9:37am Hey guys! If you're planning to do an unofficial meet up, can you please do it on the first day? Because i have to leave Hamburg after the Summit and if you're gonna do the unofficial meet up on the second day i won't be able to attend to it, while i'd really love to because don't have the ticket for the first day of the Summit and so i won't be able to go there :(
PS: sorry for my bad English xD
i think you won't get chose for both! Leibzig show and summit (both meet and greets)
Be fair :) you'll see LP in hamburg at the summit :) let another guy see them at leibzig :>

Comment by Hassan Ali Khatouli on June 13, 2011 at 4:41pm Hi everyone. I'm coming from london for the summit in hamburg. I'm so excited as i turn 18 on the 22nd and what a celebration its gonna be with the lpu and linkin park all day on th 21st. Although i'm really nervous. I went to their show in L.A. but didn't know anyone so it was a bit wierd on my own but i think now i can meet all you guys, fellow LPU members it's gonna be the best birthday bash ever. I've never been to germany before and i get there around 9 in the morning. I dont have a ticket for day one but looking down in the comments you all seem really friendly and obviously have great taste in music so it would be really great to meet all of you. Just to get the ball rolling if someone who knows hamburg well could set up a facebook page with a possible place and time for this unnofficial day one meet up that way maybe they could post it back here and we can all get to know each other and talk and stuff before the main summit on the 21st. So what is everyone thinking?
Great idea from you adam!
Well we thought about like going out for a drink or so or meet up to talk :)
Cannot wait to meet all of you super cool LPU fans there :)
