@Renee With this battery pack, i can charge my iphone up to 5 times! Maybe i can charge your ipod too

@Tim bringing with you an extra battery will be a good idea! i'm afraid that my ipod will end its battery before the end of the Summit but i think i won't bring with me the extra battery because i think there won't be places to charge the ipod! xD 

@Adam: don't worry, everything will be ok! Can i know how many people will be at the Summit?

Like I said in the email, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be patient with us throughout the day. There will be a lot of people there, and we're going to do our best to keep everything running smoothly. There will be some periods of down time (during check-in), so please just hang tight, meet new friends, and help us out! :)

@Rennee I will only bring my iPhone4 with me and an extra battery pack for it. The 5mpx cam of it is very good for a smartphone cam :)

I guess I should also be clear about PROFESSIONAL camera's. If the lens can come off, the venue and production company doesn't allow it. That's a good rule of thumb.

The waiver is more not so you follow RULES, but so if something happens and you get hurt, we aren't liable. It's also to ensure that it's ok that we film YOU. That's what that is for. Sorry, it's a lawyer thing. We aren't going to kick you out for something silly like "taking a picture of the band." I promise! We have ALWAYS allowed fans at Summits to take as many pictures/videos as they want, and we will continue to do so.

 

I'll also be there with my camera, as will fiore and the tour photographer. There will be PLENTY of great pictures of the day!

Also, we have to follow the camera policy of the venue/production company. We don't care if you film, but you can't bring in a professional camera. If you have a small point and shoot camera that films, awesome. We encourage it! If you cell phone films, great! Use it! We just can't allow PROFESSIONAL camera's in, per the venue/production company policy. Rules for this event are the same as any concert. If you treat it like that, there won't be any confusion.

To clear up all of the confusion about pictures...

 

YES, YOU CAN TAKE PICTURES OF THE BAND. Of course we want to you to take as many pictures as you want during the Summit.

@LinkinParkForever275: Danke für Deine Antwort. Eben weil ja moderne kleine Kameras so eine gute Qualität haben finde ich diese "Regel" extrem unsinnig. Ich weiss selbst das es wahrscheinlich so ist das keiner wirklich darauf achtet - aber warum dann dieses ganze Theater? Bist Du Dir eigentlich sicher das das mitbringen von Essen erlaubt ist? Ich hatte zu diesem Thema eine E-Mail an das LPU HQ geschrieben und die haben mir dazu geantwortet: "I don't think you'll be allowed to bring food or water, so I would make sure you eat before you arrive!! Unfortunately this is a venue thing and not much we can do about it!"

@michael: auf deutsch:  Keine videokamera! also diese camcorder!!

Spiegelreflexkameras sind nicht erlaubt! ist leider so, da sie immer noch die besten bilder machen!

Ich nehme meine Panasonic Tz10 mit - die ist einfach spitze und macht hammer video/audio und fotos!!

mein handy (galaxy s2) macht außerdem auch gute bilder und videos :)

@michael keil: Just sign the paper and thats fine ... bring your camera with you and take some pictures! But not video cameras OR Slr cameras are allowed! So just a normal digital camera.

They even said "what to bring" --> "camera"

 

so just give a shit on the thing in the waiver :)

 

@christoph: we have to bring food with us - you can purchase drinks at the on stage restaurant!

 

@Veronica: you should have received it over a month ago! directly after you purchased your summit ticket!!!

iam a little sad that we have to choose between backstagetour, stagetour and bustour. i thought they did everything at the past summits
