Sure, it's all fun and games to imitate Nina Garcia -- until the imperious judge's critique leaves your design trashed like runway roadkill.

That's one of the takeaways from Thursday's "Project Runway" Teams edition.

Portland designer Michelle Lesniak Franklin had the "Project Runway" workroom hooting it up at Michelle's spot-on impression of Garcia's critical style.

But Michelle wound up at the bottom of the heap after the runway show of looks the designers created for country star Miranda Lambert.

Not that Garcia could have known about Michelle's funny parody of her, right?

Although Garcia seems so intimidating and all-powerful, it wouldn't surprise me if she somehow sensed it ("Beware my wrath, puny designer from Portland mortal!")

But all kidding aside, the episode was the roughest one yet for Michelle, who has already distinguished herself for her witty comments, and appealing designs. After being stuck on the losing Dream Team for a while, Michelle broke free to join Team Keeping it Real. But their winning streak ended right after Michelle joined their ranks. This week, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn informed the designers that they were switching up the teams even more -- a very good idea, if for no other reason than we now don't have to hear the term, Team Keeping it Real, for one second longer.

The new teams are twosomes. Samantha has immunity, after winning last week, so she gets first choice and selects Daniel. Smart move, right, because he has done so well? Yeah, we'll see about that.

Matthew, who has had ups and downs -- mostly downs -- had his confidence shaken. He gets a chance to choose Michelle. She doesn't exactly jump for joy. In fact, she's worried his doubts about his process may make him his "own worst enemy." Michelle, how right you were.
