Hey Bonnie. It's me again.

 

Guess freaking what?!?!?! I finally got a meet & greet!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I can't wait to meet the band face-to-face!!! Especially since this is my 1st actual concert that I've ever to in my whole life and it had to be this day!! All I could do is thank God himself for giving this opportunity to meet Mike, Chester, Brad, Rob, Phoenix, and Joe!! I'm so excited!! XD

 

Don't forget the next time you come online, make sure to look for me in the L.A. m&g photo album over @ the LPU photos. I'll also be uploading photos myself of the m&g & concert within ASAP.

I'm still double crossing my fingers for a M&G pass! And I have heard about the canceled shows over here in the States about Chester's illness. I'm praying that he will be able to fully recover just in time for the Los Angeles show next week. How would I feel if the L.A. show was canceled??? Simple..... LET DOWN AND DISAPPOINTED!! Oh, the show is on 23 February.

Oooohhhh, you know what I just remembered? I just remembered that back @ the old LPU site several months ago that you also excited for not only you were going to see LP in December, but you were also excited to see Usher in concert in the Spring. Are you still going to see him and if yes where? If it ever happens, I hope you have a good time.

Hey Bonnie. It's me - Luis again.

 

I'm still double-crossing both of my fingers for a M&G pass. Not only that will make my day, but it would be the happiest day of my life!!  It would be like winning the lottery - the "Linkin Park Lottery" to be exact. lol. The closest thing to seeing the band in person and up close was at the ATS Listening Event in Hollywood back in 7th of September. Best part of that night was when Chester shook my hands 1st before everyone else right after the Q&A session. I told my friend, Roger, who I took with me to the show, about it and I was like, "OH, SHIT!!!! CHESTER JUST TOUCHED MY FUCKING HANDS AND I'M GONNA HAVE A FUCKING HEART ATTACK!!!"

And by the way, I'm only going to the show in Los Angeles because I can only afford one show and it's a little closer to where I live.

Thanks for replying back. I'm gonna have a freaking blast @ the L.A. show on Feb 23rd and crossing my fingers to have a M&G for that day!! I bought a general admission ticket, so I'm going to be standing throughout the entire show (hopefully all the way in the front). I actually went through the LPU pics for the Brisbane and Sydney concert and I saw you in both of them. You must have been pretty lucky that you got to stand 2nd next to Mike @ the Brisbane M&G and Chester on the floor @ the Sydney M&G.

That's a really good question. I'm not so sure if you can get them for free, but I know you can buy a digital version of the album for 10$ over @ the LPU main page.

Hi, yeh the summit was amazing, best thing to happen to me all year, i was going to go to the Sydney show on the 11th but sold my ticket to go to the Summit, met my friend Ingrid there as well who u also appear to be friends with lol, how are things up north anyways with the floods and all that, hopefully ur in a safe part i was really nervous when i met them though and i shook chesters hand and got cold tingles and just said wow in amazement lol

Anyway, one of the crew came over telling him to wrap it up and I hadn't got to speak to him but just as everyone was moving to sit down, he turned to me and smiled sorta disappointed looking and said "I'm sorry, I really wanted to stay and talk to you." and I simply said "That's okay" and we smiled at each other before I went to sit down.

So, then I went and took my place sitting in front of Phoenix for the Q+A (in which I actually sneezed and Chester gave me this paternal smile) and it turns out I had the best spot again because when Chaz and Mike did the acoustic performances they moved directly in front of me for them and I got to exchange some words with them then.

That's just one of my amazing LP stories, I have so many from that two weeks that I'd love to share with you over time.

As for the Bris pic and Mike standing behind me, I blame that all on my fangirlly repetition of "MIKEMIKEMIKEMIKEMIKEMIKE" over and over again. I felt like such a creep for that, especially seeing as I didn't even realise I was doing it, but it obviously got his attention and worked the charm because, well... a picture says a thousand words!

Oh, and as for the flooding, lucky my town is just out of the flood zone but I'm still getting majorly affected and I'm pretty upset about it all. Brisbane, especially Brisbane city is my home and seeing any part of it and QLD like this is breaking my heart ):

The story of how I held Mike's hand is hazy, even for me but Aaron (he's comments on your profile too I see) and I remember it going like this:

Pretty much it was right after the group photo, as you could see I was the only one on the ground with the actual band, between Chester and Phoenix and anyway, in Brisbane I desperately wanted to get a photo with him or a hug, which is why I was so jealous of you in Brisbane. I had vowed that if I got the chance again, I'd go for it and just ask instead of being to shy (he's the only person capable of rendering me speechless, I swear). So, I did and he looked and me and smiled sincerely and said that he couldn't because that would be unfair to everyone else because he didn't have time to hug everyone, but that he wanted to stay and talk to me and a few others. So, he hung around and was talking to a few people who were next to me and I just stood there and patiently waited my turn when all of a sudden I felt something grab my hand. I figured it was an accident or someone pushing past or something so I looked down to see who it was and then froze because as I looked down I realized that the hand that was currently tightly holding mine and squeezing it, was attached to the one and only, Mister Michael Kenji Shinoda. I just stood there in shock, unsure of what else to do but simple stand there and hold and squeeze his hand back thinking about how surreal it all was. I also had the mind to look around and see if it was happening to anyone else but no, it was just me and that made everything even more amazing. He was holding my hand, out of choice!!!

Hey Bonnie!

I remember you but I don't think we talked. I was soooooo envious of you getting a photo with Mike... he's my hero. I look up to him so much. I got lucky at the Sydney summit though, a few of the band members remembered me and Mike held my hand for like, minutes. I died. It was really cool in Brisbane, him being behind me and then getting my ace spot on the ground with them in Sydney so yeah, I couldn't be happier or more blessed with my amazing experiences.

Thank you so much for adding me! I love making new LP friends. I actually met my current and wonderful boyfriend at the Brisbane concert so I'm beyond happy :)

Hi Bonnie, thanks for the add and the comment, i was at the second Sydney concert and i went to the Summit and got my Deluxe Fan Edition of A Thousand Suns signed then i saw them live in Canberra he next day and scored a Meet And Greet for that show as well and i got my LPU9 Vinyl signed, was the best experience ever, and i agree the LPU9 site was a million times better, it was nice hearing from u, hope to hear back, take care :)
