Being a refugee from flood situation in central Bangkok, I went back to stay in my hometown, Sukhothai, until the big festival came. Loy Kratong Festival was originated in Sukhothai in Sukhothai period which was, literally, Thai's first capital city. Loi literally means 'to float,' while kratong refers to the lotus-shaped receptacle which can float on the water. Due to the flood happening in Central Thailand right now, Music for Relief may not come here yet. I don't expect that and don't blame. It is just because we have to learn how to manage and survive what we're facing. Millions of people here in local area are in bad situation. And millions of us are trying our best to help them as well.
How bad is it? It is enough to make me feel so stressful and paranoid, being feared of the water to get to my house. I'm thinking…

I am a kind of person who doesn’t get myself into anything so deep; to prevent my mind from being possessed. I saw the movie Dante’s Peak and there was a scene that a grandmother had to get herself in that damn hot lava just to get a stupid doll her granddaughter dropped during the run-for-your-life.
