"As a Linkin Park fan whose dream it is to go to one of their concerts, I would love to start raising money for the band. Only one problem; I'm 14, and my only chance of fundraising is pretty much mowing lawns for profit. Does anyone have ideas…"
"The Catalyst is a great song. The lyrics are awesome and the video's cool, too. There's one thing I don't like about it though. The synthesizer kind of ruins the bridge for me (For those who don't know, the bridge is the part…"
What i've noticed from the music video's LP has made is that they all connect to the lyrics of the song in some abstract way that most of the time is not seen at first glance. Take the video From The Inside for example. At first most people think, What does a riot and a kid screaming have to do with the song?!? This is where the genius of LP is seen. The whole song is, in the video, talking about how the little kid feels. There's a riot going on, and he's trying to ignore it. he doesn't feel like "wasting himself" on everyone else just because they have thrown everything in them away. This is one reason why LP's videos are so popular and successful. They show the impossible and connect it to one of their songs, which they make so vague for just that purpose. Anyone can connect to a LP song through any event in their life or sombody elses.
