I've noticed that with Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns that Linkin Park changes their style for each album to create a unified "feeling" and theme.For instance, with MtM, there was a lack of electronic instrumentation, among other things. For ATS, the reverse is true: heavy use of electronic instrumentation with little guitar or bass.
