WHY THE CHANGE???

So, I don't understand what happened. Don't get me wrong, I still like Linkin park quite a bit, but I don't understand why the band changed so much. I bought hybrid theory, Meteora, minutes to midnight, a thousand suns, and just today living things. I've noticed that hybrid theory was hard, not like a7x, but certainly adequate screams and a certain anger that not everyone can relate to, and I really liked that.
