Joe and I just got back from Germany, where we went to the Echo Awards (the German Grammys), and did a bunch of press for our upcoming Facebook video game, called RECHARGE. Good to see our friends and team out there, and great to hang with the awesome Til Schweiger, who has been a great supporter of LP.
I tried a little German on stage, which was fun. I don't actually speak German, but people tell me that, for those who speak English, German is one of the…

In their words: “This means that Linkin Park has taken exceptional precautions in ensuring the safety of their concert goers at each venue. It’s about knowing what to do before a storm hits, not waiting for the storm to hit and scrambling to figure out a plan. We hope that many other bands will move to become StormReady, and we will…

I got a phone call about a year ago, asking if I would score "a little Indonesian action movie." It had a lot of promise, and was starting to get noticed in the independent film circles where it was being shown. The movie was made on a small budget with a lot of heart, and featured the Indonesian martial art form, Silat. The guy on the other line said, "The director and I really like your remixes and Fort Minor stuff; we were wondering if you'd be interested in doing something like that."…

A few weeks ago, I challenged the fans to hold off listening to the album until release day. I had suggested the fans create their own listening party, and share with us on Twitter. As it turns out, one group of fans scheduled a big online "listening party", celebrating the release in the U.S. I…

Imagine opening your birthday presents by yourself, alone. Imagine having no one to look in the eye, sharing the excitement of each new thing.
Now imagine opening those presents, surrounded by the people you love. There’s something better about sharing an exciting moment with other people.

We have teamed up with the Lotus F1 Team to create "Linkin Park GP." This is more than just a racing game for your iPad. In "Linkin Park GP,"players drive a Lotus E20 F1 car and interact with a 360° environment to create an original remix of "BURN IT DOWN." As you accelerate and move through the app, audio tracks and live effects are mixed in real time to respond to your actions. This allows users to actually zoom into sections of the song, even into individual…
