To celebrate the release of A Thousand Suns on September 14, Linkin Park will be playing a special show that same day at the Best Buy Theater (formerly the Nokia Theatre) in New York City. We want to make sure LPU members and fans who pre-ordered A Thousand Suns have the first opportunity to purchase tickets since this is a small theatre, and this show WILL sell out.

As usual, current LPU Members, as well as fans that pre-order LPUX at by August 22 will be able to purchase tickets FIRST. Fans that pre-order A THOUSAND SUNS via the online store by August 22 will be able to purchase tickets before they are available to the general public.

In addition to the New York show, Linkin Park invites you to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime multimedia presentation of Linkin Park's new album, A Thousand Suns in Los Angeles on September 7. Participation is by invitation only. A select number of spaces will be reserved for current members of LP Underground, and fans who pre-order the LPUX Annual Membership.

We're looking forward to celebrating the album release with all of you.

Scratch that.. I just realized LPUX and current LPU members are under the same pre-order category. IDK why I thought LPUX got them first. Anyways, I'm still upset about the price. :(

Awesome, more money spending -____- Why did the price had to go up that high, seriously?

I think that you should clarify that LPUX is LPU10.. as in roman numerals... hahaha it took me a while to get that. But I don't understand why LPUX members get tickets first! How's that fair? I just renewed my lpu membership a few months ago and now I have to pay another 60 bucks if i want to get the best seats (not to mention the actual ticket price)?! Seriously. Just because I'm not rich doesn't mean I love lp less.. don't you guys have enough money from cd sales and concerts and everything else? Why do you have to raise the membership price to $60?
