To celebrate the release of A Thousand Suns on September 14, Linkin Park will be playing a special show that same day at the Best Buy Theater (formerly the Nokia Theatre) in New York City. We want to make sure LPU members and fans who pre-ordered A Thousand Suns have the first opportunity to purchase tickets since this is a small theatre, and this show WILL sell out.

As usual, current LPU Members, as well as fans that pre-order LPUX at LinkinPark.com/lpu by August 22 will be able to purchase tickets FIRST. Fans that pre-order A THOUSAND SUNS via the LinkinPark.com online store by August 22 will be able to purchase tickets before they are available to the general public.

In addition to the New York show, Linkin Park invites you to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime multimedia presentation of Linkin Park's new album, A Thousand Suns in Los Angeles on September 7. Participation is by invitation only. A select number of spaces will be reserved for current members of LP Underground, and fans who pre-order the LPUX Annual Membership.

We're looking forward to celebrating the album release with all of you.

LPU pre-orders available now at http://LinkinPark.com/lpu.

Well, unfortunately, that's the side-effect of posting the pass here, of course. But what else could have been done since we had not received the e-mail with that password?

I still dont understand why you feel that people who didnt pay a nickel should have a chance at presale...

Of course not, but I'm saying that it's better if some people who did pre-order it get the tickets (along with a few lucky ones who did not pre-buy anything, but still I doubt there were many) than if they did not get the chance at all.

So you feel that people who did not pre-order anything have the right to get tickets over people who did because they are lucky???

If it makes you happy, Chase Smith, I both pre-ordered the album and bought the lpux pass just to buy that ticket and I did not get any e-mail at all... Getting the pass here was the only way to buy the ticket. I am sorry for you not being lucky, but please do not reproach anyone for making the pass available. I doubt that there were many people who did not buy anything in advance and were checking this forum and bunch of other forums to get the tickets just like us who did (pre-ordered stuff).
