I totally get Mike's comment during premier of The Catalyst on KROQ where he said this album would be popular with pot smokers...it works with a glass of wine too. Loving it!!!!!

Just finished the full experience. I gotta say, this is a totally new direction for Linkin Park. Minutes to Midnight was a pretty big change, but A Thousand Suns most definitely takes them to a whole new level.

In my opinion, A Thousand Suns is absolutely breathtaking. I was enthralled from start to finish of the full experience.

I've been a long time Linkin Park fan. They've been my first favorite band and still are. I loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I liked Minutes to Midnight even better, and A Thousand Suns has taken the top spot for me now.

Linkin Park continues to amaze me with not only their musical talent, but their fearlessness in pursuing the kind of music that THEY want to create. They don't let themselves be restricted by a genre. I don't think there's anything that Linkin Park is "supposed" to sound like. One of the things I loved most about the album was the diversity of it. Similar to Minutes to Midnight, very few of the songs sounded very alike. I will say that perhaps another song in place of one of the fillers would have been nice, but I did think that Wisdom, Justice, and Love and the way it transitions into Iridescent was very powerful and moving.

Linkin Park, thank you guys for one of your most amazing albums yet. You guys continue to amaze me. Keep making the music that you guys want to make. I can't wait to hear what comes next. =)
