This is not linkin park. No this is Fort Minor, Dead by Sunshine, Grey Daze and Hybrid Theory. Plus electonica. Plus reagge. This is Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, Joseph Hahn, Brad Delson, Dave Pharell and Rob Bourdon. Wait a minute... this is Linkin Park. and I like it.

Okay so I just finished listening to it. I am not completely sure if this is the real whole album or not but I actually really liked what I heard. It dosent sound like linkin park at all, more like a completely different band and type of style/music. I listen to all sorts of music and I do have to say what I heard I would consider a masterpiece. I like how all the tracks flowed into eachother like if it was one whole song. You cant really tell the seperation but I really enjoyed that. It took me on this melodic mellow euphoric emotional journey that left me stunned after in a very positive way. I suppose I could say speechless in the sense that it totally engulfed me and took me someplace else that I am just coming back from. Hard to explain. I like emo a la Brand New and Silverstein etc. and I like mellow stuff so to me this was very good. It touched me very deeply. The only criticisms I have are on blackout, the messenger, the catalyst and wretches and kings. I feel they messed up the vibe of the album. To be honest if those tracks werent in there and they opted for softer songs like the rest I would have been thrilled. The messenger was good to be honest soft mellow but I did not like the vocal performace on it. Chester sounded way too raspy. Oh and I didnt really get or understand the carribean influence in the music in Mike's Raps. Looking it as music in general and not a linkin park record and critiqueing it like that like I said to me its a masterpiece. With a few tid bits like I said with those songs they could have made it better. I am still coming down from this spacey high feeling after listening to it. Its a little weird and strange but in a good way. So yeah wow I really loved what I just listened to. I dont think many people will understand this type of music and they will trash it but as a lover of various music yeah like wow. That was some journey.

why this album is very different ?
do not like linkin park at all
your music is too much use of techno
whereas very few rock elements

Really good, but way to much techno, needs more rock, but my favorite song is waiting for the end
