LP recently released their new album, A Thousand Suns, and I've torn one out of a shelf in our local mall. I started listening to it while doing something else to kind of imprint it in my memory, you know? Well, anyway, I then started to listen, and I mean REALLY listen to every song in the 50 min. compilation without any distractons. I noticed that they really took a big leap there. Even though I admit I wasn't that big a fan of them before, I can still see (or rather HEAR) the difference between their new hits and their previous ones. It turned out quite the opposite from the LP everyone's always loved, and I'm glad it did. Metal rock (which i DIG) isn't for everyone, is it? What I'm trying to say is that, yes, Linkin Park decided to take a risk by softening up the verses and turning up the techno effect, but 'doesn't that make them even more awesome? Listen to their lyrics, for crying out loud! The words are deep, man... Also, choosing a different style this time makes them even more versatile musicians!! I do remember some songs in which they inserted their original style, if ya know what I mean, and that's still awesome. My thumbs are waaaay up for them. Haters, give them a chance; LP followers, keep up the support! PEACE

Yeah I listened to the new album and liked it but prefer the older LP that I loved so much. It's good but no meteora good!
