International LPU Summit
We are thrilled to announce our FIRST International Linkin Park Underground Summit event on November 10-11th, 2010 in London, England.
This is the biggest, most ambitious fan event in the history of the organization, and we want you to be a part of it. ALL current members (LPU9 and LPUX, everywhere in the world) are invited to this exclusive event, and LPUX Annual members will be admitted for FREE. The Summit is an example of how LPUX takes the LP experience to the next level.
DAY 1 - November 10:
Music For Relief Project #1: Habitat For Humanity YMCA Re-Decoration
LPU members will help redecorate the hostel for the homeless and those in housing need.
Location: 25 St Mary’s Road, Ealing W5 5RE. Day One Events Map Link
It is situated about halfway between South Ealing (Piccadilly line) and Ealing Broadway (Central Line), so is pretty easy to get to by public transport. Check http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk for exact travel time to the location.
Time: (Note there are 2 shifts)
- Morning Shift: 8:45 – 12:00 noon (08:45-12:00)
- Afternoon Shift: 12:45 – 4:00 pm (12:45-16:00)
Music For Relief Project #2: eForests Tree Planting Event. Volunteers will be planting UK native species of trees outdoors and reduce their carbon footprint.
Location: Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park
The main gate is situated in Southern Grove, E3, with the Soanes Centre just inside on the right. The nearest Underground station is Mile End on the Central, District, and Hammersmith and City lines. International Soccer Cup
You’ll team up with other LPU members to compete for glory, and prizes outdoors in the park. Open to all LPU members!
Location: Hyde Park Sports Field, London. From Knightsbridge tube stop, go towards Hyde Park, and turn left towards the tennis courts.
Time: 14:00-16:00
All events are RAIN OR SHINE- Dress for the weather!
DAY 2 - November 11:
LPU Meet Up: Pre-Summit AND Post Concert
Meet up with fellow LPU members on November 11th for breakfast before the main Summit event and for a drink after the Linkin Park concert. Discount breakfast and free drink vouchers provided to all Summit attendees.
Location: American Sports Bar and Grill inside the O2 Arena (within walking distance of the official Summit check-in)
Time: 10:00
LPU Main Summit Event:
Location: O2 Arena
Time: 11:30 lineup, 12:00 check in
Main Summit event to include:
- Q&A and meet & greet with Linkin Park
- LPU Raffle and Auction: Photos with LP, backstage tour, collectable and signed exclusive merchandise and more!
- LPU Jam Session. Opportunity to play Linkin Park’s actual touring instruments.
- Tour the LP crew tour bus or the stage
- First entry to the concert venue on Nov 11 (Concert tickets not included)
**Fans are welcome to take pictures at Summit events. Video is prohibited.**

@michalangelo Yeah I was pretty quick booking my room, so was lucky! It was mainly to make it easier to find my way back after the show lol.

@michalangelo I'm sure the organisers have thought of that though! They wouldn't arrange it for too close to the summit events, but will see anyway. I'm staying about 5/10 mins from the o2, so doesn't make any difference to me really :-)

I think the breakfast is a cool idea, dont think that all of people participating in the summit will go there for obvious reason: queue and first come first serve basis during the summit activities. I think im gonna pass this time

@michalangelo It's definitely hard! I am so grateful that I can afford the LP show, that I'm not stressing so much about the meet and greet. Just so pleased I get to see them! I'd probably blush and talk rubbish to them if I was lucky enough to meet them anyway! haha.
U planning on going to the breakfast on the Thursday morning? Think it's a great idea!
