I wanted to chime in here since it sounds like a few members here have been frustrated by the experience. First of all thank you all for your feedback, thoughts, elated posts etc so far. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to improve the process in the future

To address a few of the comments:

- Where the band is touring: I can't speak for the band but I imagine they would love to stop in every major city if they could. But it's an issue of time. From my own experience, a concert can be a great excuse for a roadtrip, especially doing it with good friends and a great soundtrack. I know that doesn't make up for them being in your hometown but it can be a good option.
- Seating assignments: It's our goal to get you the seat assignments as soon as possible, even if it's a site you can check. We'll be updating this more in the next week with info on this. Know that at the very least you will get a physical ticket with in mid-December and that seats are assigned by the order by which they are bought (earlier seats get assigned first)
-VIP package: The band wanted to provide a special experience for those who were interested in upgrading to VIP and we've needed to limit how many people we can take at each show to keep it small. In order to keep the seating first come, first assigned we separated it from the VIP package to keep it fair for everyone

Again, thank you for all your thoughts, feedback etc. Feel free to reach out to me privately on the site with additional thoughts and comments.

My question is.. and I know the VIP thing is ridiculous.. as the ticket should have been included.. but if you add that VIP to the ticket purchase.. do you get in BEFORE the folks standing in line.. that's my question.. of course I realize no one might not know the answer, but just wondered if that's the case.. I know it says there is a VIP entrance..but just curious..

@RD Sorry to hear Canada has been hit by the recession too. I agree with you about people who like to complain for complaining sake! I just don't want to be confused with those people. Hope you enjoy your show!!!

This was on the Topspin Media site:

Seats will be assigned based on the order purchased. We have no way of knowing your seat assignment, but physical tickets will be shipped out on December 15, 2010.

That's a little reassuring...

Cincinnati was on there, now gone. Who do we need to email or write letters to? I can't wait to see you guys. said the stop isn't confirmed yet. Will there still be reserved seats for presale for this show?
Comment by Gan Sion on November 15, 2010 at 1:39pm
@Patti Jo: GA = pit/standing. You are on the main floor and in front (if you get there to be one of the very first in line). I hope for LA's presale I can get GA tickets. I bet they will about $165 EACH after all the fees and whatnots :"( Sitting down for an LP concert, no way! And I agree with the VIP, ridiculous!
