Can anyone explain why the NYC show @ MSG is the only one with an issue here? I know the demand is high but I don't think the one @ The Staples Center in LA will have this problem next week. Anyone hear anything back from Customer Service yet?

Pretty excited! got my Tickets at 9am (PST), for the Vegas show... Unfortunately My hubby got the General Admin tickets at the same time I got my Reserved Seatting Tickets.. so now we have 4 tickets! lol Hopefully we can convince two friends to join us... they all live in Los Angeles. If not then we paid for two extras! Oh Well! well worth it!

They send two emails: the first one being that they received the request from you and the second one is the specific one usually from a specific person of the support team. This is very frustrating...

I have emailed them twice. I will post my email and their response.
My concern is I didn't receive a confirmation email after I placed the order for the tickets because the order flow page timed out. I asked if they had record of my order and if they can email me receipt of purchase.
Here is their response and it's totally off topic.

Hey Frank ~
Seats will be assigned based on the order purchased. We have no way of knowing your seat assignment, but physical tickets will be shipped out on January 14, 2011. However by participating in the presale, you will be guaranteed the best seats in the house.
Seating won't be assigned until mid-January, but the Linkin Park management team may send you an email a few days prior to the date the tickets ship so you have advanced notice of your seat assignments.
You can view the general seating area by clicking on the Seat Map for each venue: http://www.linkinpark.com/tickets/ The blue section is for General Admission and the pink section is for the Reserved seating.

Best,

I contacted them a while ago about a separate issue and they responded in 5 minutes... MINUTES! I have noticed that there are hundreds of people sending them customer support issues so I'm going to tell myself that's why they haven't responded yet.... haha. If anyone hears back, post it here!

I'm also an LPUX Annual Member- logged on at 11:45 EST to wait... wasn't granted access until 11:55AM then as soon as I selected the number of tickets and pressed confirm after entering all my information, was given the 'out of stock' message. I did this in under a minute and this was even before the apparent 12PM start time, I have no idea what's going on. I initially did this on my laptop but a couple minutes later tried on my iPhone and was given the same message. Granted this is the most popular venue on the US Winter Tour, but I find it very hard to believe that the presale sold out this quickly, because I didn't have any issues getting tickets back in 2008 when they played MSG as well and it was a good half hour into the presale. I contacted TopSpin literally right at 12noon and have yet to hear back from them.

My receipt has an 7 digit order number starting with 74...

A receipt screen popped up for printing after my credit card went through. I received email confirmation. Got reserve - doesn't state section/seat. I then saw the seat sections for the presale (46, 47, 87, 88, 104, 105, (back sections of 5, 6, 7, and 8). Not that great of sections and not knowing what section I bought tickets. I was periodically checking on the exact time they'd go on sale. When I checked at 11:53 they were available.

If anyone bought pre-sale tickets today, did they get a confirmation number? And if they did is it referred to as a ticket number? How many digits is it?

:( I got LPUX today and wanted it as well as the presale tickets but they were sold out at 12.
