I was diagnosed with Bi Polar depression about 15 years ago and I fell a long way down and hit the ground extremely hard. I am 28 years old now and I am still dealing with it but I am super strong now because one day my brother was watching Much Music with this band playing music that really spoke to me, I had never heard of this band before so I opened my brothers door and there was a band called Linkin Park signing "In The End" my mouth dropped open, I couldn't believe that someone could sing about things that were swimming around in my head but there it was. I felt like someone somewhere told me to open my door because that would be the day that I would start to feel like there was the rainbow at the end after all.

I owe you guys so much, just by making the music that you do, you have really saved my life in more ways then I could even really say. I love you guys for making music that can speak to someone like me, who was so far down in the bottom of some hell and help me make sense that I can have the light and make it

Hi Mike, as a person of Japanese ancestry, do you have strong views either way on the whaling debate? I've lived near the east coast of Australia all my life and watching these magnificent creatures is amazing, even though I've only ever seen them from the shore.

I was first introduced to LP by my son when Hybrid Theory came out and One Step Closer was in the charts. Despite what I'm told I've never felt "too old to listen to that kind of music". It was last said to me by someone ten years younger than me (I'm 43). I grew up studying, playing and listening to music and while there are often good songs around of every genre, mainstream pop is too bland. I like music that's a bit edgy yet still has great melodies and harmonies. One of the things I love best about LP's songs is the interwoven vocals between you and Chester, and the amazing sounds all you guys produce, yet underneath it all are great lyrics and tunes. I think where a lot of bands go wrong is in trying to create sounds and effects without having a song worth putting them to. While I like some of your songs much more than others, it's great that you guys are willing to step out of your comfort zone at times and try something a little different. And I love how one song will flow into another,like Foreword/Don't Stay/ Somewhere I Belong.

Having said that, my favourite studio album is usually Hybrid Theory but I'm beginning to rediscover Meteora, and I've always loved M2M, there are some fantastic songs on it. I'm looking forward to the new album and I hope Australia is on your tour list.

Ok. I suposse that everybody says the same to you and you are tired, so, i am not goind to write it anymore :)
So, what i ve got to say is that i think your music safe me, for real, and doesnt matter if some peeps supose that i am telling lies, for me, its totally true. In your songs i found so much help when i was mad. Thats my reason to be a Linkin Park fan. My life is now better. In all the mean of the words.(sorry, but i am latin, cant write english so well) Your lirics, guy, are pretty beautifull. Not the rubish that many bands sing, just prettending talk about sex and something to dance. Things without sence, i dont like that. For that reason and so much more, I love ya.

Supongo que esos comentarios te cansan, además de ocupar espacio y tapar a otros comentarios.
De todas maneras veo que se toma el tema a la ligera, no entiendo porque la gente intenta justificar sus comentarios siendo todo tan obvio.

PD: Y espero que no se le este cruzando por la cabeza estereotipar a sus fans.

I know what you mean Mike. At some point guys.....they all understand that we all think they're a great band....and they know we all think they're awesome! So why do we need to keep repeating it? Probably the best way to show that would just be to keep supporting them! Not taking away from the fact that LP is the greatest band ever...just saying not everyone needs to just say "Come to Europe" or wherever you want them. Sure I'd love for them to come to where I am, but that's up to them, not up to me asking them to come here.

what I really have to say, hmm...? weeelll....

Your music is inspirational, emotional, and touching to me and no matter how you guys change things up, i'll always love your music and support your band, whether it be LP, Fort Minor, Dead By Sunrise, or whatever...

The only main thing i have to say is, Don't stop coming out with music, for i will be very very upset! lol
