Just like everyone else here, I am EXTREMELY bummed about tonight's show being cancelled - I'd been looking forward to seeing them again in concert for MONTHS!! - BUT all the naysayers on here seriously need to shut the **** up! I can't believe that some people here are actually accusing Chester of FAKING his illness!?! LP LOVES their fans, and I don't think they'd EVER intentionally disappoint them!!....Get well soon, Chester, and we'll look forward to seeing you and the boys on your next tour! :)

All of my love to you, Chester; get well soon, and remeber; millions of admirers are praying for you to heal again, including me. Just rest now, you obviously need it; I'm sure you're in good hands, dear. Anyways, I hope you'll feel better again soon... All of my love to you, and I'll pray for you too, Chester! Get well soon!

I am pretty disgusted by peoples comments on here. Chester is only HUMAN. he is not god. And @ the person below me, yes they do need him to put on the show. A lot of people would be upset to have paid the $ & traveled to get a half-assed Linkin Park show. Maybe that other band did it, but let's face it, Linkin Park has 6 members who are all vital to the songs and the show. And where did you hear this speculation about ticket SALES? I really doubt that is the case. They love their fans & are rich as anything. And if it was I think it would be a town smaller than DC that people from all over are probably traveling to for the show.

God this sucks............. i was so ready for this show..... if they don't cancel tomorrows show... chester aint sick... if they do cancel, get well soon chester. I saw a band not to long ago... lead singer had Laryngitis and they still played. we don't need chester the crowd can sing his part. although he is amazing. After like 2-3 songs the lead singer said he couldn't handle it anymore and they finished the rest all instrumental with the crowd singing all the songs......but they still performed. also im hearing some speculation its due to ticket sails being bad....... better not have been the case.

i understand that Chester is sick, i mean he has been prone to illness since he got bitten by the recluse spider years ago...but I agree WHY CANCEL AND NOT RESCHEDULE!!! I have been looking forward to this and so psyched for MONTHS now...i am so upset....

While I am extremely upset about not getting to see them, people need to understand Chester is only human. He is probably feeling physically like crap & also like crap because they know this is a big dissapointment to fans, not to mention all the stress of getting the tickets refunded, etc. Since they have already announced tickets are going to be refunded, I really doubt a make up date will happen. If it does, it's probably going to require purchasing new tickets. As for the show tomorrow in Connecticut, they are probably playing it by ear, because can you imagine how difficult it is to cancel a show & all the crap that has to be cleaned up as a result? And I know everyone is upset that they may not get to see the "A thousand suns" tour because if they don't come back to the area until projekt revolution, it will be different. Other than the opening acts, I don't think it will be much diffenrent, maybe one or two songs. I saw them in 08 on their world tour in Baltimore & then like 3 times during projekt revolution that summer. The only difference I think there was is that in the winter tour they played My Decemeber. Honestly, without a new album/music being put out, I doubt the show will change very much. I understand where everyone is coming from being upset, because I am very sad too, but remember they are human just like you & me. Would you want him to perform sick as a dog & have wasted your $ for a half-assed show? Just think about when you are extremely sick & having this dilemma on your mind.

Understand the frustration Kirley...and share it.  Let's hope they can do something positive for us folks in DC.  I just ate a train ticket coming from Richmond today to see them.  Not much to do about that.
