Who would you like to see as a standin then Marcus? Who do you really think could step into his tattoos and sing any LP song live without a backup tape? Wise up man!

Honestly, each person in the band means a lot to their fans. I would rather have no show than to have someone replace Chester.  We all know you're disappointed (and with good reason) - we would all be disappointed...

But honestly, even if they were to replace him... I haven't heard a second person that has a similar voice to Chester... Money can buy things, but money can't buy talent.  His vocal ability/tone/screaming abilities are rare.

Fine fine fine, I get it chester is the lead and the band is nothing without him . . . but for a tour production of this size and magnitude I think it's irresponsible not have back ups and alternatives.  Lord knows they can afford it for the amount of $ they charge.  I'm sure it wouldn't have been to hard to get someone to stand in for him.  Obviously it wouldn't be the same but wouldn't you rather have a different show than no show at all?  If Chester left the band tomorrow you're saying you'd never go see them?  It's rarely all on one person with a band like this.

OK Marcus, I do understand where you are coming from, but "the show" can not really go on without Chester. If he knackered his voice for good that could be the end of LP. look what happened to Queen!

Some of the pathetic comments on here have turned my stomach ~ the guy is ill ~ Linkin Park are a band and if one is down then they can't go on ~ how can you be so callous about it ~ What's more important is Chester getting better so we can appreciate their music for a long time to come ~ not just missing one show.

Rest up Chester ~ the amount of work you have done on this tour I'm not surprised one of you has fallen ill ~ You get back at em when you're 100%  fit and well ~ Went to the Paris concert and it was awesome ~ you have the best vocal range of anybody on the planet ~ so rest up them chords and we will all see you again very soon ~ LOVE LINKIN PARK XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

What part of 'you will get reimbursed' do you not understand?

Well, I disagree, I don't think it's immature to think that because one person is sick the entire operation must be canceled.  I doubt the whole band rests on this one guy and if they do then they're not much of a band.  Perhaps you don't understand what goes into a show but I know a lot of people who work on events like this and guess what, if there's no show they don't get paid.  So now dozens of people who would have earned a salary off this event are out one night's wages, all of the fans who spent $ to whoever it is they really wanted to see are screwed, and there's no opportunity for a repeat show.  I think it's simply lazy to call the whole show off because of one individual being ill (which might be different if it was a one man show but it's not) and a cop out not to even bother trying to reschedule.  Pardon me for whining but I feel I'm entitled to it after rearranging my schedule, taking a day off from work and shelling out $160!  They could have gotten it done . . .
