WASHINGTON DC CANCELLATION

Linkin Park has been forced to cancel their February 10th show in Washington DC at the Verizon Center. Lead vocalist Chester Bennington is ill and under doctor's orders to refrain from performing. The band sincerely regrets this unavoidable cancellation and apologizes to fans for any disappointment caused. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase beginning February 11th. If you purchased tickets directly from LinkinPark.com, you will be emailed with information on how and when you will receive your refund.

Cause you know I thought the lead singer of Pendulum prances around on stage like a unicorn shouting 5 words every two minutes with his Jason Statham hands...or is the lead singer the guy with the keytar? Not sure, I mean I did deal with a huge amount of red and blue epilepsy, I thought they were decent at best but I'll be nice, not say anything bad and bite my tounge.

If Pendulum is so great how come they don't have their own US tour? Linkin Park came to THEM and asked THEM if they would join the ATS NA tour as an OPENING ACT. Seriously Marcus get your head out of the clouds, I've never seen anyone complain the way you've done. When has any, ANY band have a backup singer? Bass, guitar, drums, maybe but lead singer? Wow dude just wow.

And their #2 singer is their main rapper. Mike does not have the same range as Chester, very different tones, and Mike doesn't scream. Fans are difficult and they can't please everyone. If they were to have done that (which is impossible due to vocal differences) most fans would accuse them of being 'sellouts' and not cancelling the show because they want the money. Yeah?

The point is, jessiexo, that Pendulum is from Australia, and they do not tour the United States. The only time we have been able to see them, we had to fly to Miami. And we did. We are true fans. We like Linkin Park, and the chance to see them together was just such and unbelievable, once-in-a lifetime experience, and I am indeed devastated. I do understand the importance of health, but come on - thousands of people are waiting for this and they can't utilize their number two singer? They could have given a choice of refund or not, for those who had to have Chaz or nothing. For the rest of us - it would have been nice to have the option. I doubt I will get another chance to see Pendulum play in a large arena before I am old and shriveled. I am not hating on LP - I am just sad and disappointed.
