Open letter to LP

Sent Feb 11:

As you probably know by now I'm a huge fan of the band. Since you've never been to Puerto Rico I decided to take a leap of faith and be part of your tour by attending the concert to take place in Washington DC. I took a plane the day before hoping to have a great time and an unforgettable night. Obviously, after flying from Puerto Rico, I was really disappointed when I heard the news that the concert had being canceled. But I was hoping for the best and wishing that Chester got well soon. When I realized that the concert to take place over in CT had not being canceled, I decided again to take another leap of faith and bought my tickets, rented a car, and drove to CT. To my surprise, when I got to CT tonight I heard the news that the concert had been canceled too!!!! I must be the luckiest person on Earth or the biggest fan ever. I've always wanted to see your band live, and I thought this was going to be it. Unfortunately that was not the case and not sure if I'll ever have the opportunity again unless you can visit us in Puerto Rico where I guarantee you'll find a huge number of fans hoping for the same opportunity. I wish you all the best hoping I get to see you someday....

Hey guys, I just thought I would play devil's advocate for a minute and remind people that the venue has to have open times for the band to come back and play.  I looked at the verizon center's scheduled events and the first day they have open in march 4th, and then a few days after that throughout march.  you also have to consider how it would work rescheduling the others like this as well.

That being said I desperately hope they reschedule the DC show on any day but March 4th since that would be the only day in March I would be unable to attend!  As I said before I am one of those people that drove 5 hours only to find out the show was cancelled when I got there.  Let's just keep hoping that they will reschedule!  I'm glad to hear Chester is doing better and I hope the other guys in the band are taking some of this time off to relax so they don't get themselves sick either.

@ Julie: They said at this time, doesn't mean they won't in the future.

@ Mayra: I'd assume they'd just put tickets on sale again.

I bought tickets through ticketmaster and they already refunded the tickets. so if they do reschedule, what will happen then?

Please reschedule the DC show!!!  Do not shaft us like this!

Seeing as how they've already rescheduled Houston's show, I will lose a tremendous amount of respect for LP if they don't make up the other dates (especially this one, since we were the first one).
