Well I was a fan until this crap . . . and believe me I will cancel this account soon since LP is dead to me, but not it matters.  And yes it just a show but anyone who's been psyched for an event for months and sees it canceled knows how much it hurts.  And since Pendulum is from Australia it might be a little hard to just go to another show . . . . they play their own massive shows in Europe but since they're not well known in the US all that well they're forced to play second billing to overblown bands like Linkin Park.  Don't they have two singers in this band anyway???

Well this stinks big time!! Hope you get better quickly but can't begin to tell you how dissapointed my son is and like alot of other parents on here it was his 16th BD present and I was so HAPPY to get them for him! CRAP!! When Brad was on 98 rock today he said Chester was pretty sick but it does sound like the flu and nothing really horrible thank God! So nothing to be done about it but I hope they see how very much we wanted them here and make an effort to come back this way!

You can't sing if you have things like strep throat or pneumonia (and countless other illnesses).  If Chester were to get more sick, he would have to cancel MORE shows (and thus, have more disappointed fans).  If you didn't know, it's possible for Pendulum's singer to get sick as well... and they would cancel shows too.

You're pathetic, grow up. Go to another concert if you really want to go... better yet, since you only like pendulum... go to a fucking show that's actually theirs.

@Marcus Arelius YOU REALLY ARE PATHETIC it's certainly clear that you are not a fan and you should just delete your account cuz u don't know how important Chester is to the band and true fans don't want him to get sicker no matter how much they were looking forward to a show!

I'm from San Jose originally and wish I could go there and see you guys.  Damn!

Heh, you're lucky my wife's not online otherwise she'd have some choice words for you!  Guess what . . . no one is irreplaceable, not with 7 billion people on the planet . . . And yes I made an account just to voice my opinion.  Why?  Because I shelled out $30 just to join this stupid fan site in November because the only presale tix that were availible were through this crappy site and we were NOT about to miss Pendulum. If you look at the other posters on the site, no one wants a refund, the want the show because that's what they were willing to shell out their hard earned duckets for and to cancel the whole thing because one guy is ill is just unconscionable.  The band doesn't rise or fall based soley on the lead singer so neither should the concert, especially when other bands were playing.  Pathetic!

Got the email about the redemption code for past concerts. It said...
Since you have purchased tickets directly from, we'll email you in the next few days with details regarding your refund. Included is a redemption code to download any past show.

Now gotta decide what prior show we want.

Lyndsey what is the code.  I have not recieved a code.  Please share with us heartbroken fans.  Thank you.

I was watching youtube and Chester looks great performing yesterday, but I am recovering from a virus and I still went to work and functioned, but my voice and body were weak.  I ended up staying home for one day and have continued forth so Chester might be good for tomorrrow's concert.  This sucks, its surreal, like a cruel joke.  We are angry and I hope the band reads all of this and arranges a reschedule for DC.  If we all unite as fans we can make this happen.  Linkin Park your DC fans demand a reschedule make it happen.  I have been a fan for over 10 years could never make a concert.  Know all the words to your songs.  Your songs have helped me get through tough times and your CD fits our time right now.  DC is the capital of everything and everything you sing about.  We look forward to seeing you again and when that happens it will be the best concert ever!
