considering his illness history he has to take extra care of himself. Let the ppl who don't get it, do what LP and other groups do and see how THEY do on little sleep and so much travel. It's not an easy life and singing like He does is strenuous. Have some compassion and empathy!!! I was "crying" and am :( devistated, but I've waited 3 mo already- a few more wont hurt. I know they'll make it up to us!!

feel BEttER Chester! and take care guyz!! Hope we see you soon!!!! <3 <3 <3

It sucks that the show was cancelled. I bought tickets for myself and two members of my family to go. I've been trying to see LP live for ten years now, but I would rather the show be cancelled than chester doing any permanent damage to his vocal chords or anything like that. I just hope they reschedule the event and let DC have the show at some point

All I see here is disrespect towards Chester's illness and people going nuts. He didn't get sick just yesterday, he was starting to feel crappy since the show in Montreal. It's definitely sad news that DC won't get to see them, but it's for the best. If they wouldn't have canceled this particular show, they would have cancelled another one, it's basically the same thing. I'm sorry for all of you, I hope you get to see them, but what's done is done, you can't bring the show back and most importantly you can't make Chester well. I wish he recovers soon.

Take care Chester ! You were amazing in Montreal, Its funny how everytime you go to canada you got sick, like the last time in 2008... Its the bad weather I guess... I hope it doesn't stop you from coming back ! Maybe you should come to canada by the end of the North american tour ...

I am so sorry the DC show has been cancelled. Wishing Chester Bennington a speedy recovery!

The only gift my 14 year-old son wanted for Christmas and his birthday (two days after Christmas) was Linkin Park tickets. We surprised him with four tickets, great seats, and he was thrilled to be celebrating his 14th birthday tonight by inviting his three closest friends to see Linkin Park.

With the news this morning that the concert has been cancelled/not rescheduled, my son is devastated. Yes, it's just a concert, one stop on a tour, but to him it meant much more.

Please consider scheduling a concert in DC in the near future. Best wishes to you all.
