I went to the Chicago show for the LPU Summit and I can tell you Chester is really hard on himself when it comes to nailing all of those impossible notes.  (I am AMAZED at how he can still scream in tune after 12 years.)  I guarantee he'd perform with his eye's bleeding but if he’s hacking up a lung or puking is guts out -there's no way you can expect him to perform.

Me, my brother and his girlfriend were very fortunate to see Linkin Park last night in Toronto. They were amazing, even though Chester seemed to struggle with holding longer notes. I was actually worried at one time that if Chester get sick, the band would cancel the show instead of postponing it. And sadly, I was right. I am sorry to all LP fans who were looking forward to see them in Washington D.C. I hope you will get your chance to see Linkin Park in Washington D.C. sooner than later. As for Chester, rest, take it easy and get well soon!

Ok the person who said Chester is fatally sick...he is tweeting right now...think he is not dying...that being said I understand both sides of the story...Chester is sick guys and you cannot control stuff like that...personally however, I think that they should reschedule a concert instead of flat out canceling it. I am truly devastated but its stuff like this that you cannot predict. So get better Chester and I hope I can figure out how to get my money back...

it's not we want free stuff it's cause some of us had to make arrangements and take the day off or something and since they won't re-book the show why not let us hear them?

it's not selfishness. i care about chester's health and hope he gets better soon. but i'm disappointed. this was my one chance to meet the guys and i don't understand why they have to cancel the show instead of rescheduling at a later time. i had been so extremely excited.

Everyone who's complaining and wanting free stuff out of all suck, period.

How the hell do we know exactly how sick Chester is?  He could have some fatal disease or something, for all we know.  Cancelling it is obviously what the band and its members/managers feel to be best, and I think you all should stop making such a huge fuss about it.  Isn't the lead vocalist's health and/or life worth more than your petty complaints?  This isn't directed to anyone who just wants a reschedule...that's not really being selfish.

Such a disappointment, but your health is more important. I hope there is a reschedule as I won the Music for Relief backstage package and a meet and greet! Take care guys!
