Comment by The Problem on February 17, 2011 at 7:13pm I am tired. Seriously tired of the complaints. So, let's take this a step further.
I live in DC. I had two tickets to see the show that was supposed to be there. It was going to be my very first time seeing my favorite band perform live. My seats weren't the best, but I was just happy to get going. Hearing about that cancellation was crushing. I felt miserable about the whole situation and I think my girlfriend felt even worse. Then came the other cancellations. It was unheard of for this band to cancel so many shows in a row. Despite frustration, it came down to one thing: I am a fan. And despite how upset the situation is for me and everyone else who had their show cancelled, I support the band and their endeavors. With that said, my only concern was shifted to the hope that Chester gets better soon in a way that they can continue with the tour as schedualed (I know I spelled that wrong).
Yes. I wanted our show to get setup with a new date. Even if it was pushed to the end of the tour. But, what's done is done.
Now, to those of you who didn't read what they posted here:
"Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule the Washington DC, Uncasville, CT and Cincinnati, OH dates at this time. We sincerely apologize to our fans affected by these cancellations and thank you for your understanding. We are currently working on ways to make it up to you."
We haven't been forgotten. It's just a matter of setting up a way to make up these cancellations. They have other obligations they must keep up with. So, with that said, let's try to be mature about this. I know so many people are upset about this sudden turn of events, but it couldn't be helped. Let the guys work out something and, as fans, let's just try and support what they do. It's just the respectful thing to do.

Comment by The Problem on February 17, 2011 at 6:18pm @ Acd Brn Allow me to clear some of this foolishness up. It had nothing to do with a particular preference of fans. It was merely that the venues were booked up for the next couple of weeks. I know personally here in DC, there we sports events for the weekend. All this week, we have Disney on Ice here. More sporting events into the weekend and next week. Not to mention other performers have the Verizon Center booked. There simply was no room for it. It's not LPs fault.
As for all of this chaos, this is becoming fucking insane. People still complaining about these cancellations. Have none of you come to the realization that the important thing is that Chester got better and recovered from being ill. Who gives a flying fuck if you're still upset. It's understandable but to continue to sit here and selfishly treat the band as if they honestly wanted any of this... its unfair to them and disrespectful. If you're a fan like you claim you are, shut up and be glad that Chester is feeling better.
I'm personally glad that Texas got their shows rescheduled and didn't have to deal with what us in DC had to deal with. Everybody needs to just grow up and stop bickering about these decisions. We're all adults...start acting like it.
