Comment by Jasmine (jadedjcBXNYC) on March 14, 2011 at 7:02am @pandobox, are you serious right now? Not only did Japan suffer a 9.0 earthquake, which caused the 30 ft tsunami wave, which in turn seriously damaged 3 nuclear power plants on the Japanese coast (and a nuclear meltdown is very likely). but thousands of people are dead and thousands more have no homes/power/food etc., and you have the audacity say that we (as fans) should not help out the Japanese people?!
Or do you also fail to realize that Mike is half Japanese and this affects him personally?
I live in NYC, and I was affected by the 9/11 attacks, my dad was near one of the towers when the planes hit, we lost contact with him after the buildings fell, for at least 7 hrs we did not know if he was alive or dead. He was taken to NJ b/c lower Manhattan was shut down. When he got to NJ he and and others were covered byt the dust and ash of the fallen towers, the people of NJ saw him and did not hesistate for one damn second to offer him food/shelter or even a shower to clean himself. what he did do is use their phone to call us at home to tell us he was fine and was going to find a way to get to us (and he did). The way that people who weren't even affected by the terrorist attack in NYC provided help to NY, showed me that when something bad happens, their are still people out there that will help! Do not EVER doubt humanity. Reading your comment made my blood boil!
I believe that MFR helps out alot of people.
Sorry for the long comment but as someone who was affected by the attacks of 9/11, people need to know that we as humans have to help out each other out in times of need.
