At the LP community in general: I agree it is a shame that the bulk of you guys are having to suffer because of a select few trouble-makers. I too hope we can get this sorted out soon and bring the chat back, better than ever. We will do our best to keep you all posted as we are allowed.

Adam,

  Thanks for the update.  Keep us posted.  Many of us have been dealing with attacks, threats, and abuse in the last few months and reporting it when noted.  We appreciate everything that you, Dan, Tarun, Tiernan, Derek, Athena and RC do to keep the site safe from such things.  I hope that sometime in the near future the chat gets resolved to the point that it's clean and clear for all members to participate in.  While many of us regulars that have used the chat for intelligent, non-violent conversations it's a shame it has come to this but in the end it was the right thing to do.
