Comment by Wulan B'dellianAdith on April 16, 2012 at 10:17pm i dont get why people still b****ing around about their sound,,less guitar doesnt mean they turn to pop,,they make 'linkin park" music,LP is the only band that really have guts to take the risk with their experimenting sound and still can make a great music,i love LP no matter what,if you dont like it then leave it and stop b****ing around,as simple as that gosh

Comment by Zero Chan on April 16, 2012 at 9:29pm Yeah,Linkin Park is the most wonderful artist in music, they can play a song with many kinds of music, the rythm and beats, the lyrics are really good, too. All the songs they play are very touchable
Comment by Danny Avila on April 16, 2012 at 9:28pm Maybe I was expecting a sort of return to the roots with this new release and it didn't happen as I tought. Staind, Slipknot, Disturbed and other classic Nu-metal bands are still together and doing what they want to do and still sound the same way they use to do in their beginnings. Even Evanescence keeps the sound and energy they had in their first albums. Perhaps I may be afraid to witness with my bare eyes that horrible nightmare announced in the movie "Demolition Man" with the now ancient Sylvester Stallone that "Music in the future is about singing 30 seconds commercial jingles on satellite radio and people really love it..". Maybe that future is here right now...
Comment by Jasmin Zombie on April 16, 2012 at 9:13pm Ok "Danny,"
Yes i agree with your opinion about their first two albums. But one thing that hasn't changed is their lyrics and that's just as important as the ''sound.'' They're expirmenting, It's like art to them. Music now a days is HORRIBLE but Linkin Park isn't as horrible. Yeah they might be playing music for kids but think about it that's what every artist is doing! I'm a linkin park fan no matter what. And what i don't get if you say they're playing music for kids and you say you're not then why are you even on here, listening to their music since it's not "mature?"

Comment by Danny Avila on April 16, 2012 at 8:43pm Well Jaz.
Maybe I'm not a personal fan of Chester and Mike as I'm of their music and the particular sound, guitar riffs, tuning techniques and energy they achieved in their first 2 or 3 Albums. Compared to that era, every new release is closer to Pop than the previous one. You say they are evolving and getting mature, I say they are doing music for kids. Keep supporting them unconditionally and they are going to end up doing Salsa or Reggae just to "experiment" a different approach to what they want to express. Maybe at my 44 years age I'm too old now to hear their "mature" music...
Me encantó el tema. Ojalá que vengan a presentar el disco en Córdoba, Argentina
