heres the thing though linkin park have always made music sound different from the rest and this album has done the same i cant think who else has tryed rock and techno to be fair i think that they are doing a great job and 15 songs is amazing in the short time that they had so stop complaining that its not the old LP things change get used to it

by pure and simple I meant, with no electronic stuff, only guitars, drums and bass

Guys, you have to finally understand that Linkin Park aren't dedicated to any of the music styles. Their style is to do something different and unexpected everytime new song comes out. And they're pretty good at it. The song is great ;)

oh yes..definetly more 'pure'...check again given up or no more sorrow bridges....
i'm not sayin it wasn't a good record...but it wasn't quite pure and simple

0.34' cannot represent the whole song, but so far I like it ^.^ although for me I prefer more rock sounds... ^o^
Can't hardly wait to hear the full version and off course all of the songs in the new album. No matter how LP songs will be, I appreciate their hard work for us... Thank you guys!

it's definitely not my album, but I got the right to tell what I'm waiting from one of my favorite band... They making music 4 themself but also for fans aren't they? Just hope they aren't making it 4 money. If they give a sample it's probably to know reactions of fans... I don't really like this one 'cause I hate techno... but this album could be very great, maybe their best, wait and see.
And hybrid theory's not favorite album, MTM is, I thing MTN was more...pure, more simple, with no techno^^ lol

@ Flaggers I'm not against you but what that guy who answered you probably meant was more songs as in one step closer isn't papercut but they are the same in the sense that they are both hybrid theory...basically what if hybrid theory was 20 tracks long...what would the new 8 ones have sounded like
