After weeks of hearing the amazing remixes on MySpace... I'm pleased to announce the wait for the real thing is over. Our new single, "The Catalyst," is out today!
To check out the song, you can go to iTunes. If you want more, get "The Catalyst" instantly with any purchase on linkinpark.com--buy anything, get the song immediately, and get the digital version of the whole album for free (even if you buy a t-shirt or skate deck) the moment it becomes available. There are also two great CD/DVD versions of the album that contain the official documentary of the making of the album. Get all this before anyone else here.
In other exciting news: we are proud to announce that the winning version of the "Linkin Park Featuring You" contest on MySpace is NoBraiN, an English teacher from Swidnica, Poland. Overall, we were blown away by the quality of entries, and the excitement by artists and fans alike. We can't thank you enough. We intend to do some special things with many of our favorite entries in the future...but first and foremost, you can hear NoBraiN's winning track here. When I contacted him directly via Skype, he was freaking out. Check that out here.
Before I go, I there's one more note. Our very own Joe Hahn directed an exclusive trailer for the new Medal of Honor game, using music from "The Catalyst." Check it out here.

and no,we are not bad fans,we where "teached",get used to the kind of music that linkin park plays in HT or METEORA,not this kind of crap...
you cant love a band that plays rock,and next plays pop ,it is just wrong ...
we give a discount in MTM ,but now,this dont have a discount by the fans,and linkin park,as to be prepared for the critics that will appear...

although i miss the old sound of lp with the screams, raps, disc scratches and loud guitars. this song isnt bad. i like it. but i wish lp would go back to their old style of music. im not a real big fan of the techno stuff in the song either but good overall. hopefully new album is good.

i just dont know... i really respect that you make music that YOU want to make...but i dont like it. maybe i just need to hear the rest of the album, or i just need to get used to it or SOMETHING. I dont want to stop loving you guys, youve always been so great.
