Heard for the 1st time The Catalyst and it really sounds good. Wish I could "get into" the music more with better understanding of the lyrics and what its all about ie. Nuke / Apocalypse ?

Die hard LP fan, who ISN'T afraid of something new and different. This is a major stretch from your usual stuff but after giving it a few listens its growing on me more and more. You can still definitely hear the true LP spirit behind it all. Kudos for pushing your boundaries and once again doing something you's aint done before, respect to bands who strive to experiment and not sit and regurgitate the same winning formula again and again to rake in the cash. you's are the band you's are because you's were something different and im glad you continually trying to do something new.

Keep it up LP, cant wait to buy the new album next month, and keep experimenting and showing why your such a great band :)

Its a great song actually. cos its very unique in every sense, only LP can make such a song...truly remarkable how they make these songs, i think the album will be awesome, no doubt. The Catalyst i think will do great in charts cos this is what people want to hear these days..more electronic rnb stuff..i think a new fan base will be covered from this song..i know theres less guitar involved in this track, but i feel the other songs will have more of a guitar driven sound to them. and Mike ur simply brilliant, an awesome musician. I heard Chester telling on BBC radio 1 last night that u r probably the most talented going around in music these days. I fully agree to that. For most of what LP is today i think it owes to you..so keep it up. and the rest of the guys just make the band unreal..ur creativity is unmatched for me..so thanks LP!!

i have no problem with there new style new divide was awsome ,not alone was great and blackbirds is magnificent but i think they may be takin it a little too far with the catalyst.i just hope the rest of the album is great

i like the song...i wasn't sure at first but it grew on me...it really is an amazing song...im pretty sure their new album will be epic!!! still a true fan since Hybrid Theory!!! good job guys
